Celebrating our 15th anniversary: We provide a virtual job market platform to benefit both teachers and schools. The job listings are available to people of all nationalities and backgrounds. Since our launch over 15 years ago, countless private schools, public schools, international schools, and language centers from across the world have advertised hundreds of teaching jobs via our online job boards - We have free and premium job boards available. Many private schools but also public schools abroad require you to be TEFL or TESOL certified - Such certificates have become popular over the last years. In addition, our team is currently working on a TEFL course program that you can do entirely online and at your own pace. It will include 15 modules and leads to an internationally accredited TEFL certificate upon successfully completing the course. "Hi there! My name is Mirella and I'm the support team supervisor. Here are a few words about my professional background: After graduating from University with a Master’s degree in English Linguistics and European literature, I moved to the UK in 1997 and worked as a student counselor for several years. It had always been my dream to teach English to speakers of other languages, and in 2001, I was hired by an international school in Argentina, where I stayed for twelve years and thoroughly enjoyed my new career path. After two short stints in Mexico and Venezuela, I started teaching English to young learners in Taiwan and later in mainland China. However, after spending many years working abroad, I felt the desire to return to my beautiful home country of the Netherlands. I joined the TEFL Jobs Abroad team in 2018. Together with my team, it is our mission to find and only post the best TEFL jobs on our multiple job boards for teachers."
